While it seems like everyone is getting into the podcast business these days, Holland Home, Faith Hospice, and Atrio Home Care realized that aging-related topics were not among the many subjects being discussed. In a country with a rapidly aging population, it’s somewhat surprising to find the sizable senior market inadequately represented, especially with all of the lifestyle, health, and financial changes this group experiences. So the organizations saw an opportunity to approach this often taboo topic head-on and lead the conversation on aging.
From tips on downsizing your home to dementia care and experiencing grief, This Day & Age starts the conversation on topics that many of us will experience in some way over our lifetime, but few care to talk about.

This Day & Age’s second season will help listeners educate themselves and prepare for the future.

Since launching at the beginning of 2022, This Day & Age has released 14 episodes. They have recently kicked off their second season, which will take a deep dive into the aging population in America and how those changing demographics will affect everything from the nation’s infrastructure to the lives of aging adults themselves. From how these future seniors will be cared for to who will pay for the care and the different expectations of the Baby Boomer generation, This Day & Age’s second season will help listeners educate themselves and prepare for the future.
