PLANNED GIVING

Ensuring Our Promise of Care.

We make a lifelong commitment to each one of our residents. We see them as family and as such, we serve, care for, and share with one another—especially when someone outlives their personal resources. Your gifts play a vital role in making this possible and securing the future for everyone who calls Holland Home home. Beyond giving a cash gift, there are several other ways you can support Holland Home, the Holland Home Foundation, and/or Faith Hospice.

Smart and Strategic Giving

Planned giving provides effective ways to enhance your support for Holland Home, Holland Home Foundation, or Faith Hospice-often while benefiting your family as well. By exploring your options, you can make a meaningful, lasting impact through simple, flexible, and cost-efficient methods:

  • Gifts in a Will or Trust
  • Income-generating Gifts such as a Charitable Gift Annuity
  • Gifts of Stock, Real Estate, or Other Assets
  • Gifts from a Continuing Care Agreement ( Holland Home Residents only )

Create a Legacy of Compassionate Care

Your generosity can ensure continued care for seniors in our community. To learn more, contact the Holland Home Foundation at 616-235-5125 or email foundation@hollandhome.org

Giving Through Your Will Or Trust:

Including a planned gift in your Will or Trust is the most common and simplest way to support our mission.

Help with Your Will

A Holland Home Foundation reference website to Wills can be found below.

Giving Through a Charitable Gift Annuity:

A simple arrangement that combines a charitable gift with an annuity. You make the gift (a portion is tax-deductible) and you receive fixed payments for the rest of your life.

— Bill V., Holland Home Resident

Giving Through Your Retirement Plan:

If you are 70 ½ or older, you may directly transfer funds from your retirement asset (IRA or another tax-deferred plan). This qualifies as a portion of the Required Minimum Distribution.

— Jake & Ann S., Holland Home Residents

Giving Through A Gift Of Stock Or Mutual Funds:

A gift of appreciated stock is a wonderful way to give without writing a check and may provide you with tax benefits.
