In February of 2023, Holland Home became an official Testbed site for the AgeTech Collaborative™ from AARP. As a Testbed site, Holland Home is able to access tech startups and pilot new and innovative solutions designed with older adults in mind. At this time, Holland Home is the only Testbed site in the state of Michigan.
The mission of the AgeTech Collaborative™ is to discover, support, and scale ideas that will help empower millions of people to choose how they want to live as they age. The Collaborative brings leading startups, forward-thinking investors, enlightened enterprises, and creative testbeds together to innovate and introduce smart solutions into the more than $45 trillion economy fueled by people 50 years old and over.
As the aging population continues to grow, involvement in initiatives like this will be a crucial asset for Holland Home, allowing them to continue providing the best care and living experience for their residents.
