Shelley Irwin of WGVU Experiences the Dementia Journey

The Roving Mic show of WGVU visited Holland Home, where host Shelley Irwin was taken through the Dementia Journey training—a live simulation in which the senses are altered as participants attempt to complete everyday tasks. All staff at Holland Home are required to complete the training in order to better understand what life is like for those living with dementia.

34th Annual Golf Outing Breaks Records

Thank you to all who attended and sponsored this year's Holland Home Foundation Golf outing which broke records in both number of golfers and dollars raised. Proceeds from the event help ensure continued care for Holland Home residents who rely on financial assistance. >NEWS

Holland Home Partners with GVSU OT Program

Holland Home has partnered with the GVSU graduate Occupational Therapy Program since 2021 to provide OT students with their Level 1 fieldwork placement. During this placement, which started for the summer semester on May 8th, students will work closely with residents to support their use and experience with technology.>NEWS
