Holland Home’s assisted living facilities offer comfortable private rooms, attractive dining rooms, lounges, libraries, outdoor gathering spaces, and one of the highest staff-to-resident ratios.
ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS
A full schedule of activities and events including worship services, games, exercise, and more.
PERSONAL CARE
Assistance with personal care needs including, help with bathing and dressing.
HOME ASSISTANCE
Help with housekeeping chores such as cleaning, laundry, and bed making plus, linen service.
MEDICATION MANAGEMENT
Help with organizing medications and check-ins to make sure the right medications are taken at the right time.
WORRY-FREE LIVING
Provide frequent check-ins to make sure assisted living residents are safe and comfortable. Also offer an emergency call system in case help is needed immediately.

Staff-to-Resident Ratios
You might be surprised to learn that the State doesn’t actually require nurses to be present in assisted living. We believe the knowledge and experience of nurses are essential to the care of our residents, which is why our staffing levels go above and beyond what is required. Detailed below are the care staff-to-resident ratios we have to help promote a healthy and safe environment.
- DeVos (Regular Assisted Living) – Days and evenings: 1:10. Nights 1:30
- Cook (Memory Care Assisted Living) – Days 1:7. Evenings: 1:8. Nights 1:12
- Mol Centers (Memory Care Assisted Living) – Days and evenings: 1:6. Nights 1:11
(Regular Assisted Living is for those who can still orient themselves throughout the day but might need some extra support and reminders. Memory Care Assisted Living is for those showing behavioral changes or cognitive decline.)
