Resident Stories:

After becoming a widow, Mary M. lived on her own for 8 years. Knowing she thrived off of community and needed to be around people, she decided to move to a senior living community. As a former nurse at Faith Hospice and Fulton Manor, she saw the importance of the Faith-based community and the quality of care Holland Home provided for each resident.

She moved to Raybrook in June 2020, in the middle of the COVID pandemic. The wellness center was open during this time, which allowed Mary to meet many residents who became her lasting friends and interact with the wonderful staff during this isolating time. Mary also was drawn to Holland Home by the various opportunities to volunteer on campus, which has allowed her to foster more relationships while giving back and contributing in a meaningful way.
