We are pleased to announce the promotion of Adam Kinder to the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Adam has been with Holland Home since July 2016 as Director of Finance and Reimbursement. Prior to joining our team Adam started his career with Crowe Horwath LLP as an auditor and advanced to Audit Manager position. From there Adam joined Agility Health, Inc. as Director of Accounting and Financial Reporting, progressing to the Interim Chief Financial Officer.
Adam is a graduate of Calvin College and is a certified public accountant. He is a member of several national, state, and local associations. He just finished his term as Chair of Deacons at his church. He and his wife Audrey and three sons live in Ada, MI.
One of the statements Adam made in his interview was “since joining Holland Home in 2016, I’ve frequently been humbled by both the scope and significance of the work of not just Holland Home but each of its affiliate organizations. The scope and significance, combined with the simplicity but directness of the mission, are unmistakable pillars of the organization.”
With Adam vacating the Director of Finance role, the two positions of Director of Finance and Director of Accounting, currently held by Steve Quist, will be combined into one position, the Vice President of Finance. We are happy to announce that Steve Quist will be promoted to VP of Finance.
Steve graduated from Calvin College with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Accounting. He has over twelve years of progressive experience with Holland Home. In 2008, he began his career as a Billing Specialist for Faith Hospice and Holland Home while providing support for payroll. In 2010, he was promoted to an Accountant role, and then in 2013 was promoted to Financial Analyst supporting the CFO with financial planning, budgeting, new business development with Tandem36,5 and assisted with a bond refinancing. In 2016, Steve was promoted to Director of Accounting where he has served admirably.
Holland Home is posting a position of Controller for the finance office. The controller position will be responsible for the month-end close of Holland Home and the other nine affiliate organizations that accounting services are provided for including Faith Hospice, Reliance Community Care Partners, Trillium Institute, Care Resources, Tandem365, Atrio Help at Home, Atrio Home Health, Atrio Home Health Lakeshore, and Holland Home Foundation.
These position changes will transition over the next several months as David Tiesenga moves into the Chief Strategy Officer position.
Sincerely,
Mina Breuker
