David Tiesenga appointed to board of Aging Services of Michigan

David Tiesenga, CFO of Holland Home, has been appointed to a three year term, renewable for three years, as a member of the Board of Directors of the Aging Services of Michigan. Founded in 1968, Aging Services of Michigan represents the mission-based providers of housing, services and care for seniors across Michigan.

David began his career at Holland Home in 1986 as a patient account manager. He also served as administrator, controller and director of finance. He has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Grand Valley State University and holds a Nursing Home Administrator license in the state of Michigan.

Breton Ridge resident Jack Baas finally retires — at 92 years old

Breton Ridge resident, Jack Baas, is finally retiring — at 92 years old. After officiating pole vault events for the past 54 years, Baas’s final event was Saturday, June 2nd at Houseman Field in Grand Rapids. WZZM13 has the story.
