Resident Assistance Fund

Holland Home’s tradition of charitable care now exceeds 118 years. In 2011 our residential campuses expect to serve more than 270 people who do not have the ability to meet the costs of their own care. For many of these, the care that they need ranks second in cost only to hospital care. To help meet this need, our Resident Assistance Fund goal for 2011 is $1,500,000.

Your gift to the Resident Assistance Fund helps us offer peace of mind to older adults and their families, and assures our ability to continue providing excellent care when personal and family resources fall short. Support is directed to help meet the cost of daily care in the assisted living and skilled care centers of our Fulton, Raybrook, and Breton campuses.

Your gift of:

  • $50 will cover one day's shortfall for one resident in our nursing care unit.
  • $350 will cover one week's shortfall.
  • $1,520 will cover one month's shortfall.
  • $4,560 will cover three months' shortfall.
  • $9,125 will cover six months' shortfall.
  • $18,250 will cover one year's shortfall.

There are three ways to give to the Resident Assistance Fund:

  1. Direct gift to the Resident Assistance Fund.
  2. Through a gift to the Holland Home Foundation.
  3. Through a planned gift to the Holland Home Foundation

These gifts are used to pay the living expenses of our residents who have run out of money. Our residents know that, no matter what happens, they will always be cared for with love and compassion.
